Synopsis:

• You will have access to a detailed style guide and our advanced translation platform, with in-system tools such as TM, glossary, and various validations.

Responsibility:

• Translation of specifications, manuals, drawings, test procedures, etc. (from English into your African dialect).
  
• Proofreading/editing of translated documents.
  
• Translation of presentation materials, technical reports, other reports, emails, general documents, etc.
  
• Support with maintaining and updating terminology lists.
  
• The job is 90%+ document translation.

Requirements:

• Professional translator with at least 2 years experience.
• Ability to follow written instructions, plan, organize, and meet deadlines.
  
• Comfortable with technology and able to quickly master new tools.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Bilingual.
  
• Experience with BigData.
  
• Experience working in startup settings.
• Advanced MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with people at all levels of the organization.
  
• Ability to work remotely as part of a team, as well as work long hours.
